As I compose my thoughts...

As I compose my thoughts and think of ways to make this blog different from what I have been doing with "The Week in Joe by Deb Hebert", part of Bluebirdreviews, I will leave you with this.

I've never been talented or gifted in any one area my entire life, such as dancing, singing, playing an instrument, or sports. Yes. I am crafty. Can sew. Garden. Cook and what have you..I do these things satisfactorily, just not masterfully.

I always tell others, "I am the princess of all things and the queen of none." However, my husband disagrees and says I could've been (and still can be) a doctor, lawyer, or any professional geek. Nevertheless, despite three college degrees, I am none of these high profiled people and continue to find my way in this ever changing world.

I came to terms a longtime ago with the fact that I would never be famous or truly talented.

My purist and deepest passion in life is music. I can't get away from it. I will give any artist a listen. And their craft/sound either moves me or does not.

Today, at age 51, I'm happy with whom I have become and embrace being the best music fan I can be. And currently, I'm a BonaManiac (fan obsessed with Joe Bonamassa).

Yours in music,
DebFromMaine
