Brief Encounter

It's been one week since meeting Joe and members of his band outside the tour bus at Symphony Hall, Springfield, MA. And as most diehard fans, it takes time to come down from the "BonaHigh" experience before one can really sort through all of the emotions (and photos and video) and convert to text. That's where I'm at now. However, I managed to post the following to the private Facebook group, BonaNation.  



BonaNation: 
No meet and greet with Joe for me at Springfield. No special photo op with my Bonababe t-shirt...but I did have the pleasure of speaking to Joe for two minutes outside his tour bus before he left his hotel for the venue. I introduced myself and got the proverbial nod and, "DebFromMaine" from Joe as he recollected the name. Told him I was captain of the Springfield team. He said, "Good job! It's sold out." I asked him to sign the local paper press release (which he did) and then asked if he'd sign my review of Afterglow (which he did). I'm thankful for the brief encounter.
